Saturday Charity shopping

So last Saturday my boy and I went for a stroll round Southsea, having a mooch round the cool furniture shops, eating lunch and attacking the charity shops.

I popped to Superdrug first to get some new mascara. My lash stilleto was running out and to be honest, I didn't really like it. I picked up Maybelline Colossal lash, which I really like, and saw a Beauty UK pallette that I've been looking at for ages and grabbed that too. I'm a big sucker for super bright e/s, but I can't transport mine round when I'm not at home so I end up only choosing a few to bring with me, and doing the same look over and over(I like to have a diff eye each day) For just under £4 this pallette is amazing. The colours are really pigmented and blend well. Here's swatches, and a look I did for going for drinks on Saturday night. The pallette is small enough to put in my make up bag and I can create tons of looks with it. You can buy it HERE Happy :)

I went charity shopping. I've been brought up with charity shops and I adore them. I spent all of my teenage years routing through them, find brilliant bargains and then..stopped. I have loads of them in my local town but they never have anything good in them. Today was different- I picked up this Warehouse skirt for £4.99- I actually wanted this last year but felt I wouldn't wear it enough to justify getting it.
This bag for £3.50, which doesn't appear to be any brand, but I thought it was cute for winter, and I love Dior Gaucho styles.

These 3 belts for £1 each. Again, I like a woven style because you make the belt fit properly and I just loved the red one.

The final item was just so amazing- a brand new Warehouse trench coat. FOR £5.99. So beautiful, it looks really smart for work.

We went for lunch at a little cafe we like to go for Sunday breakfast at. Cheap and the staff are lovely. Quick service and yummy food. I had smoked haddock fishcakes. Yum.

We also found a brilliant opticians which sells great designer glasses(including Chanel) but also tons of designer sunglasses. I lusted after some Dior and Chanel ones for ages, whilst the boy tried some more Ray Bans on, but we convinced each other that we didn't need them. It's nice to know that there's somewhere near me that sells great sunglasses though.

On our way home we found Coco- a chocolate boutique. Teeny tiny shop, but you could see them making the chocolate. G treated me to a handmade, solid chocolate cat. It tasted amazing. MMMMM.

We had a fab day, just wandering round in the sun. Perfect day :)
If anyone is interesting in charity shopping, let me know and I'll do a tips post
XOXO

I love that you find a real gem every now and then in charity shops, but my local ones never seem to have any good stuff

I've never done any charity shop shopping. I might do that know after seeing your Warehouse coat! :)

Gorgeous chocolate cats, too.
