Curly halo

I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this yet, but I’m growing my hair long again. Up until the age of 19 I had lovely long hair, which I hated and chopped off. After 4 years of having short hair, I’m desperate for long flowing curls and sleek updos. Basically want this back again

My hair is hideous at the moment. As it’s in good condition, I don’t need to get it trimmed frequently for it grow but it’s very much a hideous non-style.

Whilst perusing Heat recently, I spent some time drooling over Nicola Roberts’ hair and decided mine was long enough to attempt her curls.

Nicola Roberts

Et voila!

I had to use straighteners but I love it. This is now my full time hair style until it grows more. LAAAVE it.

G saw it and even said “ooo it’s like the ginger one from Girls Aloud” So very pleased with that

BOOM! The big fringe is just so glam.

I would like the curls to be fuller though, any help? Would the dreaded heated rollers or a proper curling tong do better?

I’m baaaack :D

We finally have the interwebs in our flat, I’m armed with my laptop, full wardrobe and whole make up collection. As I’ve been away for so long, there’s going to be a massive over haul with my blog. I’ll probably update the layout soon, and there should be far more regular and varied posts than ever before. I love the my week in outfit posts so I’m planning on doing those. As my hair gets longer, I’ll def be writing more about styles and I have a storage post coming up too. Obviously I’ll be showing you all my new flat (once it’s finished) and I’m far more into interiors now so fun times ahead.

I’ll start as I mean to go on and all that, by doing an outfit of the day.

Remember my clogs that I raved about a few months ago? Short of strutting round my office in them, they’ve seen no love. I was just never sure what to wear them with. It suddenly hit me at work- a maxi skirt! I hot footed it down to New Look in my lunch break and picked up a perfect one for only £9.99.

Here’s what I wore out on Saturday night- pub drinks with the girlies

Stripey tee- New look about 4 years ago
Waist belt- H&M a few years ago
Maxi skirt- New Look £9.99 current season
Clogs- New Look £29.99 Spring/Summer

This is totally different to anything I’d normally wear but I loved it. The belt and skirt actually gave it quite a 40s feel, rather than boho, which suits my body shape far better. Can’t wait to wear it in the winter with boots and tights.

Hi girlies
Just a quick update on why I've been missing from blogland for so long. I've officially moved into my flat but we still have no Internet so blogging is off the agenda until we do.
Luckily, nail of the day posts are quite easy to do using my phone so I'll try and post a few more.

Here's Totally Teal by Boots No7. I splinted this beauty a few months ago but I've been waiting for a till spit to buy it. With my £5 off voucher it cost a mere £1.75.

Unfortunately it wasn't quite the colour I'd hoped. Far too dark to be a true teal. It's actually v similar to Barry M Racing Green, with a touch more blue. Finish is good though, 2 coats opaque, however the colour was so much nicer with just one coat

A really nice colour for Autumn but just a shade too dark for me.
Excitingly a friend of a friend works for Chanel and managed to get Paradoxal for me(all my nearest counters were sold out) so expect another notd to add to the millions, soon!

New boots and OOTD

I bought this leopard print shrug years ago, when Asos was cheap. It has no practical use but it looks good

Top- Asos
Dress- Primark

On Thurs I found the most amazing boots in TK Maxx. I've always wanted Doc Martens but never found any special enough. These were £25 instead of £100!! Bargain

So I paired them with my shrug for a night down the pub

Shrug- Asos
Studded vest- Newlook
Ripped jeggings- newlook
Boots- TK

They're totally what I needed for rainy days, I'm just going through the pain of breaking them in at the moment!
