NYC outfit ideas
After days of getting annoyed and frustrated, I finally worked out Polyvore. As you may know, I'm going to NYC in just over 4 weeks and I'm starting to plan my outfits. It's going to be cold so I want to make sure I wrap up warmly. I've been scouring the internet looking for new clothes but I'm finding myself a bit stuck. If you've seen anything that you think would work, please link me!

I think you've got it right - classsic pieces - plenty of nice statement accessories to add a bit of interest.
Good back/shoes & coat.
It shouldn't be too cold though - when we went at the end of October last year it was really pleasant. Their coldest time is Feb/March so still a while yet til the temperatures plummet and your face feels like it's turning to ice.

Thanks, I was hoping it'd be ok. Glad to hear it's not too cold, although, aren't you Scottish?? I nearly died in Scotland from the cold, and it was August!(slight exageration, but my bf is always reminding me how Scots can handle the cold)
