I do love a French manicure but I prefer using colours rather than plain white. I used Nyx nails in french touch as the base and La colours art deco polish in Red. I've found that nail art polishes are much easier to do French tips with as the brush is thinner so you have more control. I was really impressed with the Nyx polish- not streaky and opaque on the 2nd coat, which is hard to do with a nude polish. I got mine from www.cherryculture.com

Gahh I STILL can't do tips! This is shit hot, I love that metallic red colour. I've got 4 NYX polishes and they all suck, they only really work layered over other polishes!
